Wandering Ashram Yoga & Meditation School is a globally rooted, 5 Star Yoga Alliance-registered RYS 200 and RYS 500 school dedicated to accessible, inclusive, and transformative education in yoga, meditation, and mindfulness. Grounded in the principles of Kripalu Yoga and inspired by the traditions of Ayurveda, contemporary yoga, and mindfulness the school emphasizes trauma-informed, adaptive teaching for all populations.
The heart of Wandering Ashram lies in its name—a reflection of its origin story. The school was born in a small dance studio in Germany in 2015 when its founder, Kathy Glaser (ERYT 500, YACEP), sought a space to share yoga while living abroad. What began as a borrowed space grew into an international school without walls, holding classes and teacher trainings in Germany, Italy, and throughout the United States. From yoga studios to military bases, community centers to nature retreats, the school embraces the philosophy that practice can happen anywhere—and belongs to everyone.
Wandering Ashram offers 200-hour, and 300-hour teacher training programs designed to meet students where they are, both physically and spiritually. With a curriculum that blends ancient wisdom with contemporary application, students gain the tools to teach with compassion, confidence, and authenticity. All offerings are grounded in a mindful, heart-centered approach, supporting personal growth and professional development.

Offering Yoga, Meditation & Mindfulness Educational Trainings
Established in 2016 - We are a Yoga Alliance 5 Star Rated School! We offer 200 & 300 hour Yoga & Meditation Teacher Training Certifications. We also are an accredited Continuing Education provider offering courses in Mindfulness, Ayurveda, Trauma Informed Yoga, Somatic Yoga, and Mantra Meditation. Wandering Ashram provides a supportive path for growth, healing and transformation.
Master Wellness/Military/First Responders Yoga Training
We offer a 40 hour Master Wellness Certification with a curriculum designed to educate Military leaders at company and platoon levels to guide yoga classes for soldier’s physical training. This specialized curriculum equips military leaders with practical tools to enhance resilience, readiness, and overall well-being. Through 40 hours of yoga, breathwork, mindfulness, and nervous system education, participants learn evidence-based practices to reduce stress, improve focus, and support recovery. Designed with the unique demands of military life in mind, this training empowers leaders to model and share wellness practices that strengthen both individual performance and unit cohesion.
MBA TRAINING - Mind Balanced Athlete
The Mind Balance Athlete approach is designed to support athletes in building both physical resilience and mental clarity. Through yoga, breathwork, and nervous system training, athletes learn tools to manage anxiety, improve focus, and recover more effectively. Flexibility is developed not only in the body, but also in the mind—helping athletes adapt to challenges, stay calm under pressure, and perform at their best with balance and confidence. Step into the path of self discovery and transformation in our 200 hour foundational yoga teacher training. Rooted in ancient wisdom and guided by the spirit of mindfulness, our training is more than just a certification, it is a sacred journey into the heart of yoga.
Make your own mala beads and learn how to use them for japa meditation. Join Kathy for a special 3 hour workshop at Magnolia Wellness from 3:00-6:00 PM on January 31, 2026 for hands on guidance in making a gemstone mala bead necklace. You will take home with you a new mala, your own mantra, community connection and a sense of inner strength and protection.
Pitta to Vata -Seasonal Change Ayurveda Workshop at The Urban Ashram, Orlando, FL
Join us for a nourishing 2 hour workshop to explore the natural transition from Pitta season (summer) to Vata (autumn) season. Through the lens of Ayurveda, we will explore the lifestyle and self care tools to ease this shift. You will learn practical ways to harmonize with the season through daily rituals, food and grounding practices. This session will include a guide to the doshas, a gentle balancing yoga practice and Abhyanga, self massage with warm herbal therapeutic oils. Please wear shorts and bring a beach towel for the massage.
